Our Story
How did we
get here?
The idea for onBelay was born on the sun-drenched limestone of Kalymnos, a climber’s paradise. While soaking in the beauty and excitement, we kept hearing the same frustration from fellow climbers: finding a reliable partner was a constant challenge. Many climbers weren’t on social media, and those who were found it exhausting to sift through endless posts just to find someone to rope up with. Inspired by those conversations, we took the leap and built onBelay — a platform where connecting with your next climbing partner is simple, no matter where you are.
But we didn’t stop there. Multi-pitch trad climbing adds a whole new layer of complexity — and even with a guidebook in hand, the written description of where to build your anchor for a belay station can leave a lot to interpretation. That’s where Topo360 comes in. Our immersive 360° images supplement your guidebook with a true visual reference of the route, helping you make more informed decisions on the wall. And because cell service isn’t always reliable on a multi-pitch day, Topo360 works fully offline — right when you need it most.
